The author resides on a beautiful island in the middle of the Irish Sea. With unspoilt countryside, un-crowded beaches, magnificent scenery and enough hostelries to keep him happy, he couldn’t think of any better place to live. Although kept busy helping his wife, Carole, and two kids, Samantha and Michael, look after their menagerie, he still manages to find time to put down his illegible scribbles on tatty scraps of paper for later translation. Reluctant Heroes is the author’s first published novel. If the reader has half as much enjoyment reading the book as the author did in writing it, it will have been worthwhile
